Dr. Goodman
1627 Post Street
San Francisco, California.
Dear Joe:
I heard from one of the "lders of our "hurch that the
`erates left at our Church, Yhurch of Christ at 15e%/pound
Post Street are to be either sent here or turned over
to the Yovernment for safe-keeping. I am writing Dr.
Clyde Smith, who was taking care of these things left
there if he would contact you and have our two crates
left at our home instead; if he had not already sent
them to us here. The two crates, #1 - sewing machine
and #2 - cooking utensils and other miscellaneous ar-
ticles are boxed but not too strong to be sent here;
and I did not think that we could make good use of them
here.
I hope that this is not asking for too much and am
hoping that this does not inconvenience you in any
way. I believe that Dr. "mith can be contacted at
the Sturge Memorial Building or at the Presbyterian
Church office on McAllister Street. S
Thank you very much for all that you have done for us.
Very sincerely yours,

p.s. -- Did you hear that more "apanese are coming
into Tanforan -- my brother Geerge is still
there. They expect those Japanese there to
help with the induction. That's all I know
at the present. Tho! I tell you there's a
lot of speculation going on here.
