Title supplied by cataloger. Typed caption on back: "When an undesirable tree is found, the branches are cut off and stubs are 'budded' or 'top-worked' to desirable strains; then tied and painted. Thus the 'Slackers' are eliminated." Stamped on back: "This photograph is our file copy do not mutilate it. Please return as soon as possible Philadelphia Commercial Museum." Written in pencil on back: "FS-75."
