Clean-up dey Tuesday, June 15th


following plana have been discussed and adopted for the cleaneup


Tuesdays


Theve will be no large break in the schedule that day. School


will be ealled at the regular time and the first two periods .


wilt proceed as usual. -


During the third period, which is lengthened purposefully to


handie school business, the reguiar class rare weit be Bet


aside. Each class will be requested to clean the room it is


in at that time... Buckets, rags, ecap, Galsomine, etc. will be


provided as far as possible by the school. Some cooperation


may be necessary from other sources for mops and rags, etc.


The student body officers of the school will select one hundred


boys as a special unit to repair the outside of the various


buildings. This group will be under the direstion of Mr. Roper,


assisted by teachers and student leaders, 7


On Friday, May 11 and Monday May 14 all teachers and students


are requested to take stock of their environment. Ask yourselves:


(a) what should be done to improve it in cleanliness and orderliness?


(bo?) what can be done next Tuesday to improve it? When this is

Administration Buildine should take these sections as their


particular problem. The student body officers may appoint some


assistants here and other plsces,. Teachers who do not have a


class during the 30x00B0 will join the classes in the rooms where they


teach most - or aid. elsevhere.


Faculty and students should come to school on Tuesday in clothes


and in a mood that will make them the chasers of dirt, and the


healers of bruises on the high school.


The principal. of the eshool officially calls upon all the students


of the school through their various organizations to stage a work


rally such as the scheol has never seen before. Let us all,


teachers and etudents, translate into action on Tuesday those


principles of unity and improvement which will make a better school


and a better comaunity, Let ue all do our duty fully md faithfully!

Remember that on beginning Monday School starts at $500 AM. There

Monday June 14 is a special day throughout the U.S.A. called Flag Day.


Eyerywhere throughout the lane citizens and friends Will stand in reverent


mood before the flag and all that 4% symbolizes. A brie? ceremony will be


conducted Monday morning at the flag raising exeroises. Please be promt,
