Compared with previous newsletters containing more personal essays, announcements, and Q&A, this issue is simpler, containing only two articles. An editorial titled “FTD Convention Progress” explained that the California Flower Market was assisting the upcoming convention held in San Francisco. They planned for the welcome party to be held in authentic Japanese style. It was written in a way to encourage employees to demonstrate the nobility of Imperial Japan. The other article “In Response to a Request by Members of the Monthly Newsletter Committee”, the writer complained that the committee had not published the newsletter for more than six months. He said that they should follow their committee’s decision to continue the publication and that the association's activities are important. The following minutes of the 24th Annual General Meeting of Shareholders indicated that approval was given to continue publishing the newsletter, but to make it a bi-monthly publication and to charge $250 for expenses. There is miscellaneous news at the end.
